Known A Horror Novel Review

Known A Horror Novel Review

  • Jon Derrickson would give anything to get out of the small town where he grew up. In a job he hates and living alone, he’s all but given up hope that he’ll ever live the life he had really wanted to live. It’s just the same old routine, every day. Until the terrifying recurring nightmares start—nightmares that are way too real and seem to convey a message. Then Jon notices a strange little boy in town who always seems to be watching him, which is only half as unsettling as the fact that the child knows everything about him, including the nightmares he’s been having. Jon begins to wonder if he’s losing his mind, until these unexplainable events lead him to uncover a dark secret. A secret that could get him killed.

“Very interesting, thought provoking and engaging novel. Some have likened it to a Stephen King horror novel; fortunately for me who does not like Stephen King, to me it reminded me of the Ray Bradbury genre – a novel I could not put down with well developed characters, subtle tension that continues to build, intertwined with modern day sci fi, culminating in an unforeseen, interesting twist.” By Karen

“Quickly drawn into the drama of this story and unable to figure it out as I went, the suspense in the twists and turns made it difficult to put down. Very well thought out it held a dramatic ending I was not expecting. Rich in substance and valuable historic perspective, as well.” By Joyful Always
